DAVID WILLIAMS-ELLIS – COMPLETION OF HIS LATEST PRIVATE COMMISSION

SEEN HERE PRIOR TO CASTING AT A BRONZE FOUNDRY IS ‘APOLLO’ DAVID WILLIAMS-ELLIS’S INTERPRETATION OF ONE OF THE OLYMPIAN DEITIES IN GREEK AND ROMAN MYTHOLOGY. COMMISSIONED BY A PRIVATE CLIENT, APOLLO IS TWICE LIFE-SIZE, WILL SIT ATOP OF A PLINTH AND ORB AND WILL STAND AT BETWEEN 7.5 AND 8.5 METERS HIGH. THE SCULPTURE HIGHLIGHTS WILLIAMS-ELLIS’S RENOWN FOR CAPTURING VITALITY AND MOVEMENT WITHIN HIS SCULPTURE.
