Sculptor David Williams-Ellis has just completed his portrait sculpture of Alan Turing, the British, World War II cryptanalyst. Turing’s work to enable decryption of Axis signals traffic played a major contribution in the allied victory. The sculpture was a private commission and will be presented to Sherborne School, Turing’s alma mater. John Clapham, managing director of John Clapham & Company said, ‘We are proud to represent David’s sculpture in Vietnam. His preeminence in the art of figurative sculpture is demonstrated by this fine piece.’
